LANDFALL EXHIBITION

CONTINENTAL SHIFT, and INFO ICEBERG from Pushart are included in the Landfall exhibition at the Gustein Gallery. The landfall exhibition depicts a wide range of interpretations related to the landscape genre… environmental issues, mapping, cityscapes, and the natural world.

SVA, MFA Illustration is celebrating their 30th anniversary with a gallery show.  Over 340 artists are represented.  Pushart’s NY subway poster, SMARTER, GREENER, BETTER along with several other pieces from Pushart are included in the show.

Pushart was proud to have their LIBRARIAN SHORTAGE accepted into the fifth annual Art Unleashed exhibition at the Hamilton Hall Gallery in Philadelphia, PA.

TYPHOON HAIYAN ART BENEFIT AND AUCTION
Savannah, GA, January 2014

Pushart was happy to join over 100 artists donating both their time and artwork to help the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines. 100% of the over $10,000 that was raised went directly to the typhoon victims.

Pushart’s SMARTER, GREENER, BETTER subway poster, originally commissioned by the MTA, Arts for Transit has been selected to appear in the 3x3 Illustration Annual No. 10. 

SMARTER, GREENER, BETTER along with the story behind the art is included in “PLOT Volume 2”, a book on sustainability published by City College Landscape Architecture Program.

PARTY ANIMALS has been selected to appear on the Illustration West 50 website. SILA’s Illustration West is the largest juried illustration competition west of New York. PARTY ANIMALS will also be included in the Illustration West 50 show at Gallery Nucleus in Los Angeles from March 30, 2012 - April 4, 2012.

METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY POSTER

Pushart is one of only three artists per year commissioned by the MTA to create a poster that will be on display throughout the New York area subway and bus stations in 2012.

SMARTER, GREENER, BETTER celebrates NYC as a stepping-stone for awareness and effective use of mass transit while continuing to grow, evolve. The city of NY blooms as a leader for a brighter future by turning grey buildings green, growing colorful flowers which symbolize the many far reaching rail lines and leaves growing throughout the city created from the subway map.

HEAVEN AND HELL EXHIBITION

Megan Berkheiser and Michael Liddy worked as a team to create a pair of kinetic shadow boxes based on the theme of Heaven and Hell. The work was on view at the Philadlelphia Sketch Club during ICON3 The Illustration Conference.

AMERICAN BASEBALL, commissioned by the Yogi Berra Museum of Montclair, NJ, is a dimensional wall relief sculpture designed and fabricated by Megan Berkheiser and Michael Liddy. It was also included in The Society of Illustrators 42nd Annual Exhibition.

HUMMINGBIRD MOBILE
Philadelphia, PA, 2000

Originally commissioned by the Zoological Society of Philadlephia for an educational display at the Philadelphia Flower Show, this 12 by 5 foot kinetic steel sculpture was designed and created by Michael Liddy and Megan Berkheiser. After the show it was on display in the Bird House at the Philadelphia Zoo.

FROGS Installation
One man show: The Art Directors Club NY, NY

Deformed frogs have now been found in more than fourteen states as well as Canada and Japan. When nature sends out such a powerful message as two-headed frogs, I think people should listen.
